Where2go is a mobile application designed for Nokia N95. It is a mobile city guide which learns the user's personal preferences and gives personalized recommendations for nearby events, attractions, movies and restaurants. Users can navigate according to alphabetical order, distance from current location or personal recommendations.

In this project, I utilized Human Computer Interaction principles and methodologies such as observations, paper prototypes, user tests and interactive flash prototypes. I worked on both programming and design of the interactive prototype. I learned about the development of mobile applications.

The motivation for this project came from my observation that when people are travelling they enjoy it much more if they have a local friend in the area who knows them and can give recommendations about what they would enjoy doing in that city. So why not have a mobile travel companion with them wherever they go?
